Why Inspect?

One of the biggest questions we receive is why call Equisure when a property inspector is coming out as part of the buying/selling process?  The answer is simple…Property inspectors are not plumbers or drain and sewer-line specialists. Although they check the faucets, the sink and tub drainage as well as the visual pipes for leaks, they simply don’t have the equipment to check the lines.  Property inspectors have no way of checking the main sewer line of a home, which is under the property’s foundation.  Unfortunately, the main line is typically the source of most plumbing problems…It is certainly the most costly to fix.  No one wants to sell a problem and no one want to buy a problem.  Equisure Inspectors provides not only peace of mind but proof of a property’s integrity with camera shots of the lines and our 12 month flow warranty.  Additionally, homes covered by the Equisure Inspectors Service Plan (EISP) are transferred to the new owner giving them added protection for their new purchase.

Septic Systems

Septic system tanks normally need pumped every twenty years, on the average. Inlet and outlet of septic tank baffles will clog over time if not inspected and cleared during pumping service.  Testing lateral absorption rate will determine health of this underground system. Let Equisure Inspectors quickly identify solutions that will deliver value, long term.

Peace of Mind

Homes and properties inspected by Equisure provide the seller and buyer with peace of mind regarding the drain and sewer lines.  The integrity of the property’s foundation is critical. The drain and sewer lines are part of the property’s structural foundation.  We inspect what a standard home inspector CAN’T see and we back it up for a full year…nice!

Warrantied Inspections

Homes which are inspected and receive a “passing” designation are covered under our flow warranty for a full 12 months.  We stand behind our work which is why our inspections carry the industry weight they do.

Service Plans

Homes covered by the Equisure Inspectors Service Plan (EISP) are fully transferable. We stand behind our work and know that homes covered by our service plan provide additional value. Since we cover the property, give us a call so we can introduce ourselves and the scope of services you’ll be receiving. We also will want to update our files so we can reach you for check-up appointments.
